"Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves."

Welcome!

My name is Erla Charles. I am the leader of The Prosperity Team, and I thank you for visiting our home business information website.

About the Team

My team is built on the principle: "The generous man will prosper" (Proverbs 11:25 - The Bible). Our growth plan is based on the Universal Laws of Giving, and Helping each other. This makes it possible for you to prosper by helping others. This way, we can all help make a difference in someone else's life.

Prosperity means "living in a flourishing condition." My life's purpose is to help people flourish in life.

For some, all it may take is earning just an additional $2,000 a month to live the kind of life in which they feel that they are flourishing. For others, it may take earning an extra $20,000 per month, hopefully not only to help themselves, but also to do great things to help people in need.

Whatever prosperity looks like to you, our team can help you achieve it.

T.E.A.M = Together Everyone Achieves More !!

I hope you'll enjoy your visit and that you'll seriously consider joining our Team.

Where I'm From

I currently live with my husband in Sacramento, California (USA), but I am originally from Curaçao, a Dutch island in the Caribbean.

My island is part of the so called ABC-islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao), which are located just North off the coast of Venezuela (South America). All three Dutch islands (part of the Netherlands Antilles) are surrounded by crystal clear blue waters, possess many beautiful and relaxing beaches and are safely tucked away by themselves from hurricanes and other common natural disasters (no vulcano activity, no earthquakes, no hurricanes). See location here! And check out this Curaçao Fun Stuff page.

Hardly anyone I meet has ever heard of Curaçao, but I've learnt that it becomes truly UNFORGETTABLE to the people who have visited it. If you want to know more, just contact me.

Now,... How about a Cyber Tour of our fabulous beaches?!

Just CLICK HERE to take a virtual tour!!

And here's another link with EXCELLENT summarized Welcome to Curaçao Info

Where I've Been

I was raised travelling around the world, and my life has taken me to many exciting places, be it to study, work, do mission projects, and even as a diplomatic assistant. I have done a lot of very interesting things during my travels and resided in a number of different places. I've lived in South America (Surinam, Venezuela and Brazil), in Europe (Holland), in the Middle-East (Israel), and of course in the Caribbean (Trinidad and Curacao).

You might be wondering how many languages I speak. Well... let's see... English,... Spanish,... Dutch,... Portugueze,... Papiamento (a native language),... and a couple of others to a lesser degree... just enough NOT to get lost during my travels.

While living in the countries I mentioned above, of course I visited many of the surrounding areas. I love the many peoples, cultures, and natural beauty that can be found on our planet. I consider myself a true Travel Fanatic :-}

What I Do

I am a seasoned home business owner and a consumer educator. I love to promote consumer education and awareness. Check out the Products page to get some eye-opening information you may have never heard before.

This is not the first time I've had a business, though. Back home in Curaçao, I owned a home-based business as well, doing translations for companies. Actually, I've done translations (and interpreting) in every country I've lived in.

I am also a mentor and a coach at heart. I love teaching, helping, and empowering people to achieve more than they think is possible. For many years I operated a non-profit teaching and training center that was so successful that it was financially self-sufficient... AND provided more than sufficiently for me... AND allowed me to be generous and support my favorite charities. Mentoring people is very fulfilling and brings joy to my soul. It is never a burden. This is why I love Network Marketing.

I have always been blessed with success in my endeavours, and I love to share my experiences with others to encourage them and help them fulfill their goals. I am not wealthy, but I have always been able to create a very comfortable life for myself. My goal is—and has always been—to touch many lives, and my dream: to make a difference in people's lives by showing them how they too can live out their life's purpose and enjoy the combination of fulfillment and prosperity that they dream of.

I believe that we never stop learning. Therefore, I am currently also studying part-time at Sacramento City College. First I'm taking some computer and web courses, but eventually my goal is to focus on Art and Humanities.

What I Love

Above all things, I love a life of spirituality. In my life I've come to learn that with God all things are possible and that Faith works miracles.

Up there with spiritual living, I love family life. My husband is wonderful, and I enjoy having 2 step children. They are just great young adults. So, I am blessed. I also love children in general and seniors have a special place in my heart.

Of course you already know how much I love travelling and learning about all the cultures, languages, and peoples on planet earth. And also, how much I love helping people.

Being an Entrepreneur is also listed among my passions. Ever since I became an adult and started working, I've always dreamt of having my own business. As time passed, I was blessed with the opportunity to start and operate a few businesses successfully. Every time I switched countries, I would do something new. As a missionary, I had to because often contributions were scarce. I love the financial and personal freedom that comes from being your own boss. Of course you have to work steadily in the beginning to set things up and get to the place where your business can support you in abundance. But once you get there, everything gets easier and you can enjoy more free time and more money to do the things that you love most!!

Another passion of mine is Art (music, song, dance, movies, theater, paintings, designing, languages, culinary art, etc.) I see art as a way of communication, and an expression of creativity, of history and of the soul. I was a Music, Drama, and Dance minister for over 10 years working with different congregations during my travels. I play the piano, the guitar, and I used to sing and direct choirs. I spent some time doing ancient studies in the Middle East,... and you cannot begin to imagine the interesting things you can learn from Archaeology and ancient art!!! It's just amazing.

I am very grateful for the fact that my husband and stepchildren love art. I think it's awesome that we all enjoy art so much. The reason I am particularly grateful is because when I was growing up, I was discourage from taking art seriously. But it's always been my dream.

I am also passionate about healthy living, so I am kind of a health nut :-} I love preparing delicious healthy dishes and desserts, and share these with the people I love. And I like to help people stay healthy. At least, the people who appreciate it.This is why I enjoy educating consumers.

And last, but not least, I love nature. Beaches, waterfalls, natural preserves, animals, parks, jungles, mountains, desserts, wildernis, etc. Nature just has a way of bringing you to a place of peacefulness and rest in your body, spirit, and mind. And it can even help you see things from a different perspective and find solutions you may be looking for, more easily.

A vision is a powerful thing. Everything I've done, or that I do, I have had as a vision in my mind... As a purpose or a goal to achieve. Part of what I do as a Mentor, is helping people find their Life's Vision and Purpose. I love taking people through this process of self-discovery and growth, and practically seeing a 'worm' turn into a beautiful and radiant 'butterfly'. It's the best way I can describe this. The best advices I can give you is: (1) FIND your vision, and (2) NEVER give up on your vision.
